Cookie and Storage Notice
This notice explains how The Radical Monk uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on theradicalmonk.com. Product-specific details are provided on the corresponding product privacy pages where available.
1. Cookies on This Site
The Radical Monk main website does not use third-party analytics or consent-management scripts. The first-party page visit and software download counter runs server-side and does not set a browser cookie for normal visits.
2. Necessary Storage
- Necessary cookies or browser storage may be used for requested features, security, checkout, licensing, anti-abuse controls, or remembering a local product choice.
- An owner/developer opt-out page can set
trm_analytics_opt_outin first-party browser storage so maintenance visits are not counted. - YourChoice uses a necessary first-party browser token for submission rate limits and private anti-abuse checks.
- Third-party providers may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you use checkout, customer portal, hosting, security, or embedded services.
3. Page Visit and Download Statistics
The site records first-party page visit and software download counts on the server so The Radical Monk can understand which pages and tools are being used. This counter stores the requested page or download path and aggregate counts in The Radical Monk's database. To avoid counting quick refreshes or repeated download attempts too aggressively, it also keeps a temporary anonymous server-side guard hash for about 30 minutes. It does not set a visit cookie, store raw IP addresses for this counter, or use third-party analytics. The owner/developer opt-out flag is used only to avoid counting maintenance visits.
4. Payments and Third Parties
When a product uses online checkout, payment providers such as Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies to operate checkout, fraud prevention, billing, and customer portal services.
5. Product-Specific Cookie Details
Cookie, analytics, checkout, and third-party service use may differ by product. Read the privacy or cookie notice linked from the relevant product page before using that product, purchasing, subscribing, or submitting personal data.
YourChoice uses a necessary first-party browser token for submission rate limits. It also uses private technical anti-abuse keys derived from connection/browser details to limit spam, duplicate reactions, suspicious repeated activity, and repeated counted support entries. These controls support the public anonymous opinion feature and are not used for advertising.
6. Browser Controls
You can delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings. Some requested features, checkout flows, or third-party services may stop working correctly if necessary cookies or storage are blocked.
7. More Information
See the Privacy Policy for more information about how personal data is processed.
